Diploma in Interior Design The Diploma in Interior Design course is designed to provide students the opportunity to study all aspects of Interior Design, Spatial Design, and Furniture Design. Students are trained to develop functional, creative, and attractive designs for residential and commercial interior projects. The course emphasises skills in analysing design problems so as to produce creative and technically proficient designs that can be communicated through both the computer technology and traditional media. Students are also taught the theoretical and historical aspects of art and architecture, building technology, project management, and professional practice which will prepare them for a professional career in the field of interior design. Certificate in Art & Design This course aims to provide a solid foundation and platform for students to work and explore creatively and innovatively with the intention of creating visual awareness and artistic expressions. Students are exposed to drawing skills and techniques, colour studies, photography, printmaking, dimensional studies, art theory, and basic computer graphic skills, paving the way to further studies in the art and design fields such as the diploma programmes in Fine Art, Graphic and Multimedia Design, Digital 3D Animation, Fashion Design Technology, Interior Design, and Architectural Technology, all of which are also offered by the College. Most of the teachings are studio based and concerned with developing drawings as means of communicating ideas and analysis.
