Foundation in Design The Diploma in Fine Art programme provides students with excellent exposure to all the techniques involved in the discipline. Over the duration of this course, students are given the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of materials, skills, forms, and techniques which provide them with a solid foundation for further development in their chosen art-related careers. Knowledge in the history of art and contemporary art enhances students’ appreciation of local and regional cultures. Creative thinking is nurtured as students are encouraged to think as professional artists. Students can major in a variety of media such as painting, drawing, printmaking, modelling and carving. They are also exposed to exhibitions, seminars, practical workshops, and art dialogues conducted by local and international artists and lecturers. Equator College Foundation
