Division level in Toastmasters International

IPK College has once again proven our credibility by being the champion in the Humorous and Evaluation speech contest at Division level. We are very proud of these achievements. IPK College managed to grab three trophies along with certificates of their achievements.

Congratulations to Mr Choo Kamin for winning the first place of the humorous speech contest, Mr Yit Wei Zhen won the first runner-up while our staff Ms Thacayane won the first place for the evaluation contest.

IPK College always encourages students to join Toastmasters as it can improve confidence, leadership skills, public speaking and communication skills that will give a great impact on your personal life and career. Members of IPK College’s Toastmasters Club will find unlimited opportunities for personal and professional growth and development. Joining Toastmasters could change your life!

Grooming

Everyone wishes to be smart and look smart. To be able to fit in in the society these days, we must make sure your personal grooming is up to the standards. Job opportunities, relationship possibilities, and invitations to parties and other social events are all inextricably linked to how you present yourself to the world. Grooming is simply one of those things that should not be excused.

Understanding the significance of self-grooming, IPK College in collaboration with Marry Kay has conducted a session for students to educate themselves on the grooming skills and knowledge.

Other than that, the event also provided personal grooming, facial hygiene, and the correct grooming method depending on the individual’s face shape. IPK College students got to learn about grooming themselves, having enhanced facial features and the knowledge of the right products that suit the skin type.

IPK College always encourages students to improvise themselves in all aspects rather than only in academic so that they can implement in their careers and lead a happy life!

Khatina Charity Event

IPK College’s students volunteer in Khatina charity event.

Kathina-Robe Offering is a wonderful Buddhist tradition that has been preserved for thousands of years since the Buddha’s time.

IPK College’s students volunteered to help to arrange the food to be distributed to the devotees, to arrange the chairs and tables and to provide general help to perform annual Buddhism charity event.

In IPK College, students will learn to respect each other and also maintain a good relationship with other religions. Living in Malaysia, we need to always be proud of the multicultural society. IPK College promotes the harmonious and peaceful Malaysia.

Gotong royong in Machang Bubok, Bukit Mertajam

IPK College always reminds students about a small gesture or initiative could make a huge difference in one’s life. It’s not how much we do or give back that matters, but the thought of making a difference that matters.

While others were wasting time doing unnecessary activities, students of IPK College sacrificed their Saturday rest day to take part in a gotong-royong session that was held around the area of Taman Machang Bubok (Bukit Mertajam) where IPK College is located.

Armed with brooms, dustpans and garbage bags, they went all over Taman Machang Bubok including the playground, the field and in front of houses. The event was a success with the students cleaning the neighbourhood entirely. Students managed to unclog the drains, sweep the dried leaves and pick up rubbishes and dirts around. Students had a lot of fun doing this activity and it was a new experience for some of them.

IPK College will always ensure students understand the importance of having this kind of activities. Apart from cleaning the area, they also learnt the importance of teamwork and leadership.

HIKING

IPK Students had a great time focusing on climbing the hill for a great view up there.
Everyone came home with a fulfilling smile that they finally went up to the hill and witnessed the greatness of God’s creation.
IPK College has always aimed to strengthen student’s health by promoting this kind of activities. Hiking is a powerful exercise that can reduce the risk of heart disease, improve blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
Hopefully, we will be able to always do this kind of great activities

IPK College x Happy Feet Charity Run

We did it again! IPK College has once again proven our credibility by co-organizing a charity run to gather fund for the special needs people. Running for charity is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. Passing that finishing line together with the special needs people is a real achievement and a great experience!

IPK College’s students were very happy to join and help in this event. We felt great to be part of this wonderful activity. Being one of the best College in Penang, IPK College always encourage students to participate in doing good for society.

On top of that, IPK College managed to donate an amount of money and helped through the event. This event was a success as we managed to see joys and fun on everyone’s face during the event.

IPK College is very proud to have students and staffs who are very helpful and participative for the event. We hope to always contribute to society in the future.

SST talks

IPK College will always ensure the staffs and students are updated with the latest changes and regulations in our country especially in accounting field. With the reintroduction of the Sales and Services Tax (SST), IPK College has taken full responsibility on informing and enhancing the knowledge of all staffs and students on these changes.

Thus, a briefing was held about the SST structure. Speakers for this briefing were Datuk Michael Kang and Tuan Tan How Chai.

This is a great opportunity for students to update themselves on this new tax regime that will be taken place soon in our country.

IPK College – The 5 stars Graduation Ceremony 2018

IPK College has once again proudly witnessed the graduation of another batch of students. Graduates received their qualification on the momentous event at a 5 stars hotel.

IPK College is very happy to accommodate graduates and graduates’ guests and parents at cost price only. We offered the lowest fee for graduation ceremony although it was held at a five stars hotel. This is because we value our students and parents for being so supportive to IPK College.

The management and staff of IPK College wish all our graduates success in their future endeavors. We proudly congratulate them on their academic achievements and for successfully graduating from IPK College.

Lecturers were proud to witness this joyous ceremony being held to celebrate the success of their beloved students. Parents on the other hand, were overjoyed to finally able to see their children being awarded on stage.

We hope the knowledge learnt in IPK College will be utilized in your future undertakings! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all students and parents for being supportive towards IPK College.

150 food trucks

IPK College students had the chance to go to Penang International Food Festival (PIFF). There were 150 food trucks from all over Malaysia and neighbouring states. This incredible number had set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest food truck rally in a single event.

Students from IPK College enjoyed the dishes and performances at Design Village, Penang (nearby IPK College). We enjoyed our visit with all good foods and an exciting sight of getting acknowledged as one of the Guiness World Records holder.

We are proud to be Penangiates and to witness this beautiful ceremony!
